Untraced: Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 29, 2026

Untraced is operated by Venture Accelerator LLC ("we", "us"), a Florida limited liability company at 6407 Magnolia St, Suite 126, Milton, FL 32570.

Our business is getting your personal information taken down, so how we handle it matters more here than at most companies. This policy says plainly what we collect, why, who touches it, and how long we keep it.

Untraced is offered only in the United States.

1. What information we collect

Information you give us

Information we collect automatically

Information we obtain about you from a licensed data source

When you run a scan, we query a licensed people-search data provider using your phone number. What comes back can include:

We do not collect your Social Security number, driver's license number, or financial account numbers, and we never ask for them.

We do not receive or store your payment card details. Payments go directly to Stripe.

2. How we use it

We do not sell your personal information for money. See Section 4 for what we do share with advertising platforms, which counts as "sharing" under California law.

3. Who we share it with

We use the following service providers. Each receives only what it needs.

We also disclose information when the law requires it, in response to valid legal process, to protect our rights or someone's safety, and to a buyer if the business is sold, in which case we will tell you first.

We do not let any of these providers use your information for their own purposes.

About the data source. Searchbug does not own the underlying records. It draws on its own third-party data suppliers to answer a lookup, so the records we show you originated further upstream. If you want your information suppressed from Searchbug's own results, separately from the removal work we do for you, you can request that directly at https://www.searchbug.com/ccpa.aspx. California residents can also use https://www.searchbug.com/info/california-drop-searchbug-opt-out/.

4. Advertising, and your right to opt out of "sharing"

We use the Meta pixel and Conversions API to measure our advertising. This sends Meta a record that a purchase or signup happened, along with identifiers such as a hashed email address, so Meta can attribute it to an ad.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this counts as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands.

We never send advertising platforms anything from your scan. Your address history, date of birth, relatives, and the contents of any record stay out of advertising entirely.

To opt out, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our site footer, or email support@stayuntraced.com. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.

We do not knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16.

5. How long we keep it

6. How we protect it

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Information about other people

Scan results include names of relatives and household members. We handle this carefully because these people are not our customers.

8. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, analytics cookies to understand usage, and advertising cookies for the measurement described in Section 4. You can control cookies in your browser, and refusing non-essential cookies will not stop the service from working.

We honor Global Privacy Control.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states grant these rights, and some allow you to appeal if we refuse a request. If we refuse, we will tell you how to appeal.

10. Categories, in the format California requires

In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information, from you, from your device, and from our licensed data provider: identifiers (name, phone, email, IP address); personal records (address history, date of birth); commercial information (what you bought); internet activity (pages viewed); approximate location derived from IP address; and inferences (your computed exposure level).

We disclose each of these to service providers for the business purposes in Section 2, and we share identifiers with advertising platforms as described in Section 4. We do not sell personal information for money.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than providing the service.

11. Children
